Documents for the Attestation of Driving License

To obtain a Polish Driving License, you must submit an Extract of your Sri Lankan Driving License certified by the Embassy and a Translation of the driving license into Polish to the relevant Polish office.

  1. For this, you must submit the Extract issued by the Department of Motor Traffic and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka to the Embassy. This can be done via email or by visiting the office.
  2. Payment :-
    1. If you only want to certify the extracted copy of your driving license, you must pay PLN190/-.
    2. If you need both the translation letter and the driving license’s extract, you must pay PLN 460/-.
  3. If you come to the embassy for verification, it is sufficient to bring an extract from your driver's license.
  4. OR
  5. If you wish to have your certification done via email, :-
  1. Copy of your driver's license
  2. Photo of the bank receipt for the payment
  3. Your postal address(home/office) for sending the certified documents
    • should be sent to theEmbassy via email
  4. After the certification is completed, the Embassy will send your documents by post to your postal address
